How a claim works from first enquiry to outcome
Starting a claim should not feel like a leap into the unknown. The first form is a request for a review, not a commitment to proceed. We use it to understand what happened and whether the matter looks eligible.
1. You tell us what happened
Share your name, contact details, the type of claim and a short description. For motor finance, it helps to name the lender or dealer if you can. You do not need a complete file at this stage.
2. We review eligibility
A member of the team looks at the information you sent. We check whether the agreement or dispute appears in scope, whether there is a realistic path to recovery, and what documents would help next.
3. We explain the next steps
If we can help, we contact you to explain the process, any documents we need, and how the claim would be run. If we cannot act, we say so. Submitting the form does not create a solicitor-client relationship on its own.
4. We run the file
Eligible claims are managed with legal review, insurance where appropriate, and active oversight through to a decision, settlement or other outcome.
